This is the first time I have ever written a review. If I could give Ivan ten stars, I would. I am a self-managed landlord. Hided Ivan to fix the wall panel damaged by the tenant. It was a difficult job, but he did it perfectly. Hard working, great manners, communicative and honest, workmanship is excellent and methodical, with a good eye for detail. And the price was very reasonable. I highly recommend Ivan A2Z Carpentry and Maintenance to any self-managed landlords, real estate agents and friends.

I have a building in Camperdown and needed to have some exterior stairs replaced.I was lucky enough to come acrossA2Z Carpentry in my search for a local carpenter.Ivan was quick to respond to my inquiry and provided a fair quote. The job was completed to a high standard without any problems. Ivan was a pleasure to deal with and would highly recommend him to anyone needy a skilled and responsible tradesman.

Been trying to find somebody who will make a shelving unit for the end of our hallway. Keep getting turned away by carpenters when they see it’s only a small job. Found A2Z and it seemed really good. Sent emails. No reply. Called and explained what we’re looking for. Was told “nah we don’t do that” and then he hung up on us.Your website says “don’t hesitate to call A2Z to design, manufacture and install custom shelves and bookcases to suit your personal requirements” so maybe you should remove that part if you’re not willing to install a custom shelf…? Or be nicer next time. It was very rude.

Ivan did a fantastic job restoring our wooden outdoor bench seating. You can really tell he cares about the work and we couldn’t be happier with the outcome. The quality of finish was amazing and the site was spotless after the job had been done. Highly recommended!

I contacted Ivan about replacing my heritage front door. Ivan's attention to detail and craftsmanship skills were fantastic. Despite having to make right or nine cuts and dremel operations to get it to fit just right, his craftsmanship skills were evident, he never rushed and delivered to the fixed price agreed in advance. The door fits perfectly. Thank you, Ivan.

It was a fairly small job, replacing some termite-damaged decking, and other tradies couldn't be bothered coming to the house to quote, but Ivan did - a very good sign, in my opinion. The price was good, he arrived on time, did a great job, and cleaned up afterwards. I highly recommend him.

We engaged A2Z Carpentry & Maintenance to rebuild, waterproof and re-install lighting for an external wrap around awning the collapsed during heavy rain. From the initial prompt visit through quotation to construction and project completion, Ivan and his team were professional, considerate and friendly. Ivan communicated clearly throughout and was happy to provide detailed explanations and discuss options. The quality of the finished work is excellent. We wholeheartedly recommend this professional, reliable, highly competent company.

We contacted a2z carpentry & maintenance to construct a wooden awning for our courtyard. Ivan did a great job designing and installing the awning, including the guttering and drain pipe. He was professional, honest and friendly. I highly recommend his company.

Jorge is a rare treasure. A brilliant tradesman who delivers the highest quality work for a very fair cost. Changed toilet seats & cisterns, bathroom remodeling, repairs to security door & concrete plinth, as well as new shelving. Left everything neat & clean. Is there anything this man can't do. I was broken into at Surry Hills only eleven days ago in broad daylight with a ruined rear glass panel bifold door. Glass was replaced urgently that night and that left a lot of splintered and broken woodwork. I rang Ivan the next day and he came and quoted that afternoon. It was a choice of a new door in three months or attempted repair. He thought he could do it well, so we went ahead this weekend and he has done a brilliant job indeed. it took longer than predicted using up all Saturday and most of Sunday but he has stuck to the very reasonable quote . This guy is a true carpenter not just a handyman and he barely stopped on either day. I would recommend him unreservedly to anyone wanting a flawless job with a currently small wait time. A wonderful experience to meet him and then utilise his skills.

Ivan repaired our pergola which had become damaged by dry rot. He is very thorough, right from the quoting phase through to construction and finishing. His quality of work is excellent and he always arrived when he said he would and he kept us always informed. I wholehearted recommend A2Z Carpentry.
